Diving Into The Deep

Swimovate is a UK company founded in November 2007 by triathletes, developing innovative, affordable electronic training products for sports.  We have sold thousands of watches all over the world and made a difference to the lives of many, many swimmers.

We always lost count of the number of laps we swam which was really annoying. Our research told us we were not alone. All lap counters on the market at the time were manual devices requiring the swimmer to touch the device in some way at the end of each lap. If you forget to count then you can forget to do this. Athletes are now used to Speed and Distance computers for other sports such as running and cycling- what about swimming? We wanted an affordable, discreet and fully automatic solution- so we developed the PoolMate.

Data-Driven Analysis

The Swimovate team have extensive experience in electronic and software design, development and manufacture. We have many industry links worldwide so can bring our products to you at affordable prices with excellent quality. We are committed to providing impeccable customer service and finding workable solutions to some of those training niggles we all have. We take all available steps to protect our technology and patent it.

We are enthusiastic age group triathletes and have competed in a wide range of events from Super sprints at Dorney Lake, Eton to Ironman events around the world, even the extreme Norseman Triathlon in Norway.

I’m a big fan of training data, now I can review every detail of each session I swim with my PoolMateHR. I love the way the watch records my laps and I can see how my heart rate changes during my swim. The PoolMateHR is a great tool and will help me get the most from my swim training.

I really hate swimming without my Poolmate on. On the rare occasions I forget it feels really strange .Every swimmer should have one if they need to know their laps

I bought the Poolmate for my husband, and he would now be lost without it…. a great product, but what has impressed me is the customer service i received when we had an issue with the watch. I emailed swimovate and explained the issue. This was quickly rectified without any fuss. I would highly recomend Swimovate…

I bought the PoolMate Live a month ago. I\’m VERY pleasured with it. I swim four times each week 2.5 km every time. Thewatch takes all the data very accurate and pedantic. Nevertheless, the greatest goal for me with this watch that I have to do the best efforts of my swimming results each training now. I don’t want to be disappointed after swimming and connecting the watch to computer . Great product. I’m happy

I bought a PoolMateLive to help in my quest to swim 25km in one day. I cannot stress enough the importance, efficiency, abundant data etc that the watch has supplied and contributed to bringing me to the position where I WILL SUCCEED! I will swim 25 km on the day!

I was not a swimmer as a youngster and only took up swimming in graduate school, on and off, with completing a mile in 45 minutes! So you can see I am a slow swimmer; unlike my friend, Diana Nyad, who as you may know, swam from Cuba to Florida in record time. She trained at the pool where I swim, so she has inspired me to reach greater heights. I will be 60 this year and I now swim at least 4 or 5 days per week and swim at least 5000 meters each time. My times are still slow (between 20-22 minutes per 1000 meters) but I really am inspired to try and improve my stroke and the watch gives me such excellent feedback. Recently I swam 10000 meters and was thrilled that the watch kept such excellent track of my speed, strokes, distance, etc!

We have been through a fantastic journey to get here and had so much fun. We hope you will find our watches really helpful and welcome all feedback so we can make future versions even better.
